This page shows you the electricity consumption measured at five minute intervals at the home chosen for our automation project.

The electricity meter is monitored 24 x 7 by a web cam connected to a computer running Calc-Electric, an energy monitoring program. This software reads the motion of the red mark on the meter disk. You can find out more about this software at www.calc-electric.com

The graph data is uploaded every 5 minutes in xml format for viewing in the graphing software.

Soon to be developed: monitoring of gas and water consumption using the same Calc-Electric software.
